So glad you're liking it! And yeah, I put the memory bits in partly because they're important to the plot of the story, but also because otherwise it was just such a depressing litany of "George got sad, then he got sadder, and then, just when he thought he was as sad as he could be, he got the saddest of all!" Which I have no desire to write, let alone make anyone read ;)

Hope you like the ending. The last actual chapter is up, but the Epilogue will be up on Friday, because last time I did a double-post I apparently confused people. And personally I would advise not reading the last chapter before Friday, because it's sort of evil-cliffhangery otherwise. Which, in my defense, it wasn't meant to be, when I wrote it for an exchange in which all the stories were posted beginning-to-end.

Also: Nigeria? Neat! It is always so incredibly cool to be reminded that the entire Internet is not made up solely of North Americans and Europeans. Especially when the rest of the world has a command of the English language that is far superior to most of us anglophones ;)
