It has been such a ridiculously long time - and I actually threw out what I was working on and rewrote it after getting about a third of the way through, which has never happened before.

It will get done. It's just been godawful getting to this point. And I think I also shot myself in the foot thinking I should post it all at once, instead of in two parts.
