Yeah...gospel is not exactly his style. You should see my group try to clap and sway AND sing at the same time...they're not exactly rhythmically adept. LOL yeah, my choir is mostly made up of middle-aged Ontarian Aryans. And our choir director loves African-inspired music - we even have a Black History Month concert every February - but sometimes it seems like Rhythm is refusing to have anything to do with us, just on principle.
I went back and listened to your MP3. I slow it down to about 1/2 to 2/3 that speed for a real funky, 'down and dirty' gospel sound. Ooh, I should try to figure out how to do that...
