But, if anybody was thinking of looking up the fic I wrote, if you can hang on a day or so, I'd much appreciate it. There's nothing wrong with what's up at hd_holidays, and I was thrilled at the response I got, but I was hoping to tweak one piece I wasn't too happy with, and repost the slightly-tweaked version here.

Hang on, my date just decided to put another load in the washer. OMG marriage is the utter death of romance! Anyway, that gives me time to thank scrtkpr, because I was seriously, seriously unhappy with my fic until she betad it. By the time she was done, I still didn't think it would have much general appeal (hence my squee over people's reaction to it), but really quite liked it, myself :) :) :)

Aha, load is washing and now I'm getting an impatient foot-tapping. 'Scuse me? You can delay to put your tightie-whities into the wash, but I can't say thanks to a friend?

OK, he doesn't really have tightie-whities.

RL got suddenly crazy for me, but I got a chance to read half of your fic. I'll review properly when you post it here, but I have to say what I read of it was quite good, and very funy. I found myself giggling outloud very frequently.
