Well they were definitely part of history now, thought George bitterly a few weeks later as he tossed over in bed, his thoughts swirling. But not for anything good.

Wheeeee!! [livejournal.com profile] weasley_fest reveals are up!!! And for the first time in my whole entire life I guessed what somebody else had written!

My own incredible, awesome giftpic (In the Quiet Moments) was drawn by [livejournal.com profile] kath_ballantyne, which I had already guessed too, but now I can thank her (and try to not jump about like an idiot... again) feeling more certain of her identity :) :) :)

The fic I wrote was:

Title: Coyote Morning

Disclaimer: If I owned George or Lee, I never would've taken away Fred.
Author's notes: This story is a standalone, but it can also be read as a sequel to [livejournal.com profile] ozma_katiebell's awesome A Dirty Mind Is a Terrible Thing To Waste.
Thank you so much to [livejournal.com profile] tree00faery, [livejournal.com profile] naatz, [livejournal.com profile] calanthe_fics, and [livejournal.com profile] drgaellon for beta and Britpicking.

O woman,
When I see your wild shock of hair
Cascading over the pillow,
And I hear the soft seesaw hum
Of your sleeping,
I wonder
Who you
really are,
And who I
really am,
And... what happened last night after I blacked out?

Cannot believe I missed this when it first started, but hey, better late than never. There is Glee! [livejournal.com profile] vanseedee has been writing a Glee in prompts, and just posted ficlet 6 of 13. The prompt table can be found here. First chapter takes place during OOP, and the latest takes place during DH.

Excerpt:

"OI, Jordan!" Fred's voice stopped Lee's pensive moment on the common room couch. "Quit staring at George's arse and grab your broom, we're going flying." Right. Maybe he hadn't been that subtle.

"Well, look at it," he answered, glad that he didn't blush easily. "Did you know it's freckled?"

"I've heard about it." Fred sighed and shook his head. "Don't tell the girls about his haemorrhoids, though. He's a bit embarrassed."

Title: A Small Problem
Author: [livejournal.com profile] enchanted_jae
Pairing: H/D
Rating: NC17
Warning(s): Hell yes, there are warnings! Unfortunately, I really don't know how to put it into words...Er, don't read if you don't have an adventurous sort of humor. (Characters engaged in sexual activity are of age.)
Author's note: I have no excuse for this. None at all.
Summary: A potion mishap won't prevent Harry from having sex with his boyfriend.
Rec: ::wiping eyes:: Yeah, no idea how to rec it. Just go read it. It's short.

Found myself going through RurouniHime's skyhawke account today and guh. She's got one of the most beautiful and gutwrenchingly angsty stories I've read in a long, long time. It just feels so sadly authentic, like they're an actual real couple with the kinds of problems and misunderstandings and unreachability that real couples go through.

Downpour
The Quality of Ice
Still Tender

It's three (mostly) self-contained parts. Bring tissues. Oh, and a fan for the last one.

She's also currently writing an mpreg (Under Fingertips) that I'm totally hanging onto the edge of my seat to see what happens next, um, reading. Shut up. I never said I refused to read them... just that most of them don't do anything for me. ::skulking back under my rock at the snickers::

And now I'm off to leave actual feedback. I realize far too often that I've fallen in love with a piece, rec'd it to all and sundry, followed it with bated breath... and never said a word to the author. Doh.

Virtual Romance: Wizards + modern technology = a virtual romance. Unless Harry remains forever oblivious. (H/D)

Very cute :D :D :D

Excerpts:
hotblond: You make your straight friends go to Oblique?
h_potter: they're not all completely straight
hotblond: I don't want to know (it’s Longbottom, isn’t it? Oh, Jesus fuck and thank Merlin for self-Obliviation).

h_potter: you don't have sex with your friends. that’s not how it works
hotblond: Really? Shit. Crabbe and Goyle are gonna be so pissed off.
h_potter: oh, god. i didn't need to know that
