Two things making me very (cautiously) happy today:

   It looks gorgeous. Not too sure about its canonicity, but IMHO telling a story through a movie is so different from telling it through book form that taking liberties with canon does not generally irk me. Except for A Little Princess, where at the end of the movie, Sara found out that her Papa wasn't dead after all - just living next door and suffering from amnesia ::facepalm::
   
   Anyway. It looks great. Hope it does better in the theatres than Prince Caspian did.
   
   
2. They're re-filming the DH Epilogue! Here's hoping that when the pictures start leaking online they're not greeted with a chorus of dismayed "What the..." and by hundreds of Draco fangirls reaching for the screen to scrub that... thing off Draco's face :/

ETA: Right, yeah, and I was also going to post a fic chapter. I'm mostly buried in writing a factum right now and tend to forget ficlife. This one's been ready to go for about two weeks :(

Um, so yeah, it's been a while. Am not dead, though! Just plunged deep into criminal defense law, and mostly loving it despite the skeeviness (sp?) of much of our clientele.

Am starting to catch my breath at work, though, and occasionally remembering the rest of my life outside the courtroom. Like the fact that I never did finish uploading the whole story I did for hpgeorgecentric despite it being fully written, and have yet to finish the Canon!Draco survey, and then there's fics on skyhawke that haven't been updated in about a year, a semi-new Harry/Ron story to finish post-betaing, and our laundry room floor is quite disgusting. Also we're low on milk, and if Larry O'Brien wins the mayoral race in Ottawa I will implode with disgust.

Can't do much right now about the floor, milk, and O'Brien. But! I can post another part of Leave Out All The Rest, and promise to buy milk tomorrow :)

    It was a stretch for me to do because, see, I can draw, but I can't colour. The moment colour touches my page, everything goes pear-shaped, and I almost mean that literally. ozma_katiebell and the lovely folks at April Fool's were very kind about it, though, so it all worked out fine :) :)

I'm a compulsive fiddler - no, not the violin-playing kind - so I'm thinking of redoing the George/Lee drawing in black and white and posting it here at some later date. We'll see. I'll also be re-posting Leave Out All the Rest here in chapters over the next few weeks. It won't be terribly different from what's on the hpgeorgecentric site, except for the last chapter or two, which felt kind of rushed to me.
