annafugazziOK, so, dealing with a bit of shock here, so please excuse any babbling, 'kay?
The final H/D Holidays finished the other day, and it was awesome. The mods did a wonderful job, and I had been awash with angst over my entry but with major help and patience on the part of the mods and my betas, I ended up with something I was fairly pleased with, and my giftee was very sweet in her comments, and the fics and pics reminded me why H/D has such a place in my heart despite by brain currently being populated by a whole lot of Clint Barton/Phil Coulson and Steve Rogers/Tony Stark, and all was well, except for one thing: I didn't get a gift.
Really, it wasn't a huge deal. It's a huuuge fest, and a lot of people drop out, and I didn't mention it to the mods because c'est la vie and all that. I did mention it to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
twistedm, though, who asked what happened - and it turned out that the mods had about a billion things going on and my gifter dropped out and my gift slipped through the cracks, which, seriously, is not a big deal. Shit happens.
Except that wasn't good enough for the mods. I was profusely apologized to, and offered a replacement gift, and when I said really, it wasn't necessary... well...
I got a post asking for pinch-hitters. And then I got pics. And a fic. And...
