Cheesecake! And an internet connection for fifteen whole minutes!

Am back from The Cheesecake Factory. So full it's a mite painful. But! I got to meet potteresque_ire, coffeejunkii, bewarethesmirk, anthimaeria, and nq_donne! Finally putting faces (and names and voices and jobs and bizarro similarities) to the usernames! ::squeeeing!!!::

Really wish I'd been able to meet schemingreader, but colliding schedules and mommy-busyness intervened. Doh :(

I love meeting online folkses. So far I've met a few from my other flist, but on this flist I had only ever met irishmommy & family, over Christmas, which made me want to meet more! Which, as I live in Ottawa and there appear to be maybe three HP slashfolks living there, and I hate to travel, is a bit of a forlorn hope :(


On a completely non-fandom/meetup/Boston-related note: did you know Obama hung out with some persons with less than savoury language usage in his formative years? Seriously, I'm not shitting you!
