Why I found myself looking up the lyrics to the Arrogant Worms song Baby Poo is not important. I do wonder, though, why it is that sometimes people write down very obviously wrong lyrics - and then they get copied onto about a dozen lyrics sites.
I get getting lyrics wrong, really. For years I thought the line in Bette Davis Eyes "All the better just to please you" was actually "Hog a bathtub just to please you." And Ice-T's "She's puttin' sucker punks in cops" was... well, let's just say I didn't hear "cops" in there. But it wouldn't occur to me to transcribe half-heard mispelled lyrics that made no sense to me and then post them to a dozen sites. Or to take someone else's half-heard nonsensical mispelled lyrics and copy them onto a dozen sites.
OK, yeah, it's a petty thing to be irritated by. Move along, nothing to see here ;)
