I'm not much into Viktor, but these folks wrote him so beautifully that their work must be shared with all and sundry.
- Hero Worship (actually, I've already seen this one shared with all and sundry all over my flist, but in case anybody out there hasn't already read it: please do!)
Author:snegurochka_lee
Characters: Charlie/Viktor, with non-pairing appearances by James and Albus Severus
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: None! Some LGBT themes, but that's not a warning, just a statement of content. The boys are 16/17-ish, which doesn't really matter because they aren't having sex with anyone.
Themes chosen: Masturbation and handjobs
Word Count: 6,100
Summary: In which James has a hero, Al has a crush, Viktor has cold feet, and Charlie just wishes at least two of them would stop being such bloody drama queens about it all.
Excerpt: James ignored him. "And you were with Dante Picard for awhile too, right? I remember that was in the papers. Man, you must get so much pus–"
"James."
"–pretty girls, Uncle Charlie, God, what did you think I was going to say?" - Finding Viktor Krum
Rating: NC-17
Pairings: Albus Potter/Viktor Krum
Word Count: ~13,000
Summary: "A man walks into a pub..." Or, how the universe played a joke on Albus Severus Potter and how he learned to go along with it.
Excerpt: Scorpius shook his head. "Screwing someone who looks like your namesake, now that's a little perverse."
"'Namesake' works the other way around - and he does not look like Severus Snape."
"He does. He looks like Severus Snape made love to a vulture." - Yes!! Thank you,
scabbyfish!
Ashamed
Author:emiime
Rating: NC-17
Pairings: Percy Weasley/Viktor Krum
Themes/kinks chosen: Mutual masturbation
Word Count: 1010
Summary: Viktor likes to watch, but Percy is ashamed.
Excerpt: He kissed Percy hard on the mouth. Percy returned the kiss, and his was not tentative, as their first exploratory kisses had been, but hungry, demanding, the kiss of a man who had denied himself for too many years. - In non-rec-related news, I'm almost done my festfic! You know, the one that I thought I'd have to throw out in its entirety because it was basically starry-eyed plagiarism? Of course now I'm utterly paranoid that I've ripped off somebody else's story, but what the hell. There's really only so many plotlines out there, right? Something you write is bound to be similar to something that's already out there. I've said that to others a few times, while calming down other writers who were in the same situation as me right now. One of whom, weirdly, was upset because she'd ripped off something I'd written, which I'd read and really hadn't found all that similar to my fic at all. Go figure.
Anyway. It's almost done. That's the important part. - Also: saw Star Trek! OMFG!! LOVED IT!! And sat through the entire thing thanking GOD I (a) don't much care about canon, in Star Trek or anywhere else, and (b) generally have very low expectations. I could totally picture disemboweling myself within the first five minutes if either of the above were different.
Speaking of canon, for some bizarre reason I got into a discussion with a RL friend about Deathly Hallows (I didn't even know she'd read HP at all) and ended up with lists titled If I Could Rewrite Deathly Hallows. Her biggest items were that Mad-Eye Moody would've been the only Good Guy death and Neville would've killed Bellatrix Lestrange. My list was a wee bit more extensive. May post about it some other time :)
