OK, I'm not going to put little hearts on any of these. I made a version of this page with little hearts, and only two of them didn't get any, which made it look like lack of hearts => anti-rec. Which it's not supposed to be. So. ::waves imperious hand:: No hearts for anyone!

  1. I Visit These Mountains With Frequency, George/Lupin, ~3,700, PG-13
Summary: The Potterwatch team push their luck, and find something a little bit like home in a cabin in the woods. Snapshots from a winter spent bringing hope to the airwaves.
Warnings: One instance of bad language. Implicit sex. Copious amounts of angst.

  2. Death Against the Lights, George/Seamus , 5403, NC17
Summary: Harry defeated Voldemort and was imprisoned. Now the members of the DA must come together and free him and wizarding society of its problems.
Warnings: Some violence, obscure writing style

  3. Alive, George Weasley/Angelina Johnson, 1,529, Soft R
Summary: Trying to cope with his twin brother's death and to live again, George Weasley finds an unexpected sparring partner; or better said, she finds him.
Warnings: Graphic depiction of oral sex.

  4. Only As the Hollow Men, George/Remus, George/Draco (and some background canon het pairings), 5750 words, R
Summary: The loss of his ear leaves George feeling incomplete and empty. He's not the only one feeling that way. Men can look for solace in each other.
Warnings: Cigarettes, alcohol, vomit, scars, canon character deaths, oral sex, cross-gen (30/19, 20/18).

  5. Career Opportunities for Swots, George/Scorpius, with mentions of George/Angelina, various combinations of WWW staff, and acknowledgment that both boys have had boysex before, ~31 000; NC-17
Summary: Before starting their Seventh Year, Hogwarts students are required to take a month-long "apprenticeship." Everyone is in for a surprise this year.
Warnings: UST, wanking (of a sort), light bondage and discipline, self-denial, consensual voyeurism, ADW: 47/17.

  6. Leave Out All the Rest, George/Luna, hints of George/Angelina and George/Hermione, but mostly Gen., 80,000 words ::gulp::, R
Summary: Nobody expected the year after Fred's death would be easy. But nobody expected George would have to lose so much, just to live through it. Or: George is doing his best to make his way after the war and Fred's death. Everyone is trying to help, and he wishes they would just stop. Especially Fred.
Warnings: Angst, suicide issues, and occasional inappropriate humour.

Enjoy!

This week was good. I have to admit to not having started 'Leave Out All the Rest', though, since I couldn't fathom reading 80k right after 30k.

But that's why we've got several days for it, right?

Wasn't it great? I kept going "OMG this is my second-favourite fic of the fest!" just about every day - my favourite still being That Night That You Planned To Go Clear - until I realized I couldn't have five second-favourite fics ;)

That 30k fic went by awfully fast, btw. I felt like a bit of a nerd thinking "Over so soon??" but I suppose it's a mark of a good fic when it leaves you wishing for more :D :D :D
