Вы умеете как я сказал кто-нибудь переводя скрепление в франчуз? Наилучшим образом, теперь somebody else переводит его в русского! И я полюбил бы дать y'all соединение, но несчастливо я не имею одно.

Aресу, если вы читаете это, то смогите вы препятствуйте мне знать куда вы кладете их, как только вы начинаете вывесить?

... actually, it's not. That was an Alta Vista Babel Fish translation of something I wrote in English, and it was undoubtedly purest gibberish. Though of course, not speaking a word of Russian other than "glasnost" and "vodka", I couldn't tell you for sure.

I did, however, run the Russian translation above back through Babel Fish to see what it came out with:

There were supposed to be two fic recs here, but then lj ate my post and all the nice things I said. And I'm tired and cranky because the HP thread I'd been kind of living on for the last several months got summarily executed today. So I'll re-write the recs tomorrow.

Also: can anybody think of an organization that Lucius Malfoy would've been asked to join that he would've felt very proud to join? I'm looking for something with a certain cachet. Not the Death Eaters, though, or anything Voldemort-related. Something like the Wizengamot, but not.

I looked on The Lexicon but couldn't find anything, and for some reason my imagination is utterly failing to come up with anything. Other than organizations with names like the Rehabilitated Death Eaters 'R' Us, or the Stunningly Posh Wizards' Macrame Society, or the Lubricious Deliciouses, which doesn't even make any sense. My brain hates me.

This is so incredibly cool. I never win anything. Oh - except once about twelve years ago, during the Lesbian & Gay Association Art Show in Kingston, Ontario, I donated two bucks to the LGA and automatically got my name put in the basket for a draw and ended up winning second prize, which was a very nice set of Prismacolor pencils, which I felt odd about accepting because (1) Ooh, pretty!shiny! and (2) You mean I won something? and (3) I'm not actually a lesbian, and isn't this supposed to be going to the cause of gay art?

So this is even neater than that :) :) :)
