This post is oddly ginger-tinged

- Does anyone know who sings The Scotsman's Kilt?
- Did you know that according to Wikipedia, Scotland has the highest proportion of redheads? (13% of the population has red hair and approximately 40% carries the recessive redhead gene).
- Oh hey! Check it out!
(OK, actually it's a bunch of redheads gathered at the Redheadday of 2008) - Anyone willing to beta a couple smallish things? They're both Weasleyesque; one is an Ember to Ember DVD Extra that I hadn't planned on finishing and then somehow did, Fred-centric, and the other is another part of the het that I'm writing. Huh. I remember when het was all I ever wrote. Weird. It's George-centric.
- This has nothing to do with redness, but re. my post bemoaning the fact that I was paired with Snape in a quiz? I have learned that Things Could Always Be Worse: I could've gotten Hagrid.
::realizes there's not enough bleach in the world to remove that mental image::
::cries::

Date: 2009-02-17 09:29 pm (UTC)Cool! Should I send over Fred or George?
I once got Dumbledore in one of those quiz things... *shudders*
Hm... greasy, sallow, mean & partly evil versus machiavellian, super-wrinkly & gay as rainbow-coloured paint. Yeah I can't decide either :D :D :D

Date: 2009-02-17 10:51 pm (UTC)I think I'd have to chose Snape if it came down to it - aside from the fact that I'm a bit of a fan (HGSS was my otp for quite a while...), he's at least more human than Dumbledore. You might be able to reform Snape a bit. Dumbledore, not so much. He seems so set in his "I know better than you and will sacrifice anything" ways. And there's the whole gay thing. And the really really old thing.

Yeah, true.

Hey, a friend and I once took a throwaway comment made by a TV Exec and went on to count all instances of non-married sex in a TV show's then 13-year history. We even calculated the mean and medial. And then we wrote a fic about it. Now that's embarrassing.

Date: 2009-02-17 02:58 am (UTC)I don't know who's singing. The annoying thing is the voice is familiar; I'm sure I've heard other songs he's done.
And lots of the Google links are to the same version of the song. . . with not a one giving the artist!
Argh!!

It's been on the tip of my tongue forever, but I can't place it. Although apparently it's Bryan Bowers... whom I don't know. Doh.
